I just saw that Charlton Heston died at his home last night.
What was he known for?

Bowling for Columbine.

Most actors comments about The Ten Commandments usually say NAR - no acting required. Partly because of his acting skills, partly because the major scenes are so powerful and can stand for themselves regardless of who is saying the lines.
